VFW Post 2498 is Needham's local veterans organization. We are open to all veterans who previously served in a war, campaign, or expedition on foreign soil or hostile waters.

The purpose of the VFW is to assist veterans in need, assist the dependents of needy or disabled veterans, and to promote Americanism by way of education and community service. Post 2498 is proud to fulfill this mission in Needham and its sister communities.

Unfortunately, the 7th Annual Needham VFW Comedy Show has been cancelled due to COVID-19 concerns. We hope to reschedule the show for a future date in the near future.

In honor of the Marine Corps' birthday, VFW Post 2498 will be hosting a breakfast event. This is free of charge and is open to the public. Please stop by from 7 to 9 A.M. at our Post, located at 20 Junction Street.

VFW Post 2498 is proud to participate in the Town of Needham's Memorial Day ceremonies. Following the ceremony at Memorial Park, everyone is welcome to Post 2498's facility on Junction Street for a collation.
